Safe Sitter
CPR Nursing Programs
Safe Sitter is a medically-accurate babysitting course that teaches young teens (11 and up) life and safety skills. The one-day course provides hands-on practice in lifesaving techniques designed to prepare babysitters to act in an emergency. Babysitters also receive instruction on how a child's age affects how to care for them, how to prevent problem behavior, and how to run their own babysitting business. Students will learn basic first aid including instructions on performing infant and child CPR. Saturday, June 9, 2012

American Heart Association Classes at the CNE
All courses result in an official American Heart Association certification card.
Register for Basic Life Support CPR only ($45); First Aid only ($25); or CPR & First Aid ($70). Click the Register button to register online (credit & debit card payments only), or complete the paper registration form and return to the SVHEC front desk.
Basic Life Support CPR Appropriate for healthcare students and healthcare professionals. Includes CPR and AED use for adults, children, and infants, as well as choking instruction for all ages. The one session course includes hands-on practice, a skills exam, and a written exam. Class lasts approximately 3.5 hours, and passing students receive a 2 year American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification card.

CNE Registration Form
Heartsaver First Aid Only (or add to Basic Life Support CPR above) First Aid instruction covers accidents, medical, and environmental emergencies for all ages. Hands-on practice and skills testing included. The course results in 2 year American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid certification.
