SVHEC Launches Agribusiness Initiative
Agriculture will always be a part of Southern Virginia’s history, heritage, and culture. But did you know it is playing an increasing role in our future? Agribusiness is the NUMBER 1 industry in the United States, employing 1 out of 5 people. A growing number of people are trading briefcases and board rooms for free-range chickens and organic tomatoes. The SVHEC is partnering with regional institutions to provide the educational resources needed for local citizens to start or grow their agribusiness. Please check this page often for information about regional agribusiness events.
